Ellie had a rough first night.
Of course after spinal surgery, you’re supposed to stay flat for 24-hours.
But then she started having muscle spasms. And being sick to her stomach. Not uncommon side effects of surgery and pain meds, but not fun. The morphine didn’t agree with her. Finally they tried oral codeine, and that seemed to work okay.
Hopefully she’ll be able to sleep tonight. NO muscle spasms, and pain under control.
