Ellie’s parents got the word yesterday:
The surgery date is January 5th for her SDR (Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy).
Pre-operatively, Ellie needs to see the following people/areas on January 4th:
- Pre-Admission Clinic
- Neurosurgeon
- OT & PT
This is awesome and scary all at once! No one likes to see a child go through surgery, but we’re hoping it will help Ellie immensely!
