Kids with Cerebral Palsy want to do things other kids do. Sometimes it takes a little ingenuity, but what fun they have then!
To help Ellie ride a tricycle, her parents bought one for her that has a strap across her waist, then added straps and soles to go around and under her feet to hold them in place on the pedals.
When someone pushes her along, her feet go round and round just like any other kids does!
As you can see, she looks pretty cool with her sunglasses, and wearing her cute little shorts and top, along with those spiffy tennis shoes.
Doesn’t she look like she’s having a GREAT time?
Think how much fun she could have if she could do even more things kids her age do.
Think how great it would be if she could WALK!
That’s our aim, Helping Ellie Walk!!!
